Rapper Nelly sat for a candid interview where he revealed if he ever plans to marry and why industry relationships often fail. ?Watch the clip inside and see Jada Pinkett Smith?clear up the rumors of an "open marriage."

Now that we've watched his longterm relationship with Ashanti fizzle out, and seen him spark up something new with actress Tae Heckard, rapper Nelly gave a surprisingly candid interview about his thoughts on marriage and relationship (which might explain the backstory to of the Ashanti breakup).
He says he does want to get married one day, but no one will pressure him into it. ?Also, ?he gave an interesting perspective on industry relationships saying you can't compare them to "normal" couples. ?He says you can't compare a relationship between to non-celebrities who've been dating for seven years, to that of a celebrity couple who's been dating for the same amount of time. ?He explained that if you factor in all the travel and time spent away from home, the celebrity couple might have only spent three years together. ?It's a different kind of math.?Here are the highlights:?
On industry relationships:
I think people see the relationships that industry folk have and they see the time, but there're not doing the math. ?If you do the math on that time, you'll see that it equals out to something totally different.
On public perception of his relationships:
I shy away from public perceptions about my relationships. ?You can't tell me what I should be doing in my relationship. ?I'm not home everyday. ?I haven't seen her in two weeks. You see so many celebrities get married and then they're divorced in a year. ?You know why? ?It's because when they get finally get together....the -ish that you thought was cute, becomes annoying. ?
On if he will ever get married:
Yea I think so. ?But nobody is going to force me. ?Nobody is going to rush me into anything. ?Marriage is something you should do when you are ready to do it and you know this is everything. ?I take marriage very seriously. ?And I only know two ways of marriage. ?My parents' marriage didn't last at all and my grandparents' marriage lasted 60 years. ?I'm either gonna go all the way to 60, or I'm not gonna do it. ?
On being faithful:
I know me. ?If I have any questions, I'm going to play on that and eventually that may weigh in on the situation.
On if he's ever been close to marriage:
I don't think you've been close until you've been engaged. (He's never been engaged).

Jada Pinkett Smith, one of the producers of Free Angela (in theaters today) chatted with the HuffPost about rumors of an "open" marriage to Will Smith, that have followed the couple for years. She explained that she's never given Will a pass to go outside of their marriage saying,
"I've always told Will, 'You can do whatever you want as long as you can look at yourself in the mirror and be OK,'"
She continued,
"Because at the end of the day, Will is his own man. I'm here as his partner, but he is his own man. He has to decide who he wants to be and that's not for me to do for him. Or vice versa."
So how have they managed to remain together for so long? ?She said,
"I think that you have to go into a relationship knowing ? especially when you're dedicating yourself to someone for the rest of your life ? this is a life partnership. ?He's (Will) been by my side through some of the most difficult parts of my life. And so that's something you can never take away."
It certainly doesn't sound like she ever said he can go out and sleep around on her, but it does show that she and Will realize that love and partnerships have ebbs and flows and they're both willing to roll with the punches. ?

(Reuters) - Wall Street's psycho-analysis of Hewlett-Packard's latest board room shuffle has begun.
The stepping-down of Hewlett-Packard Co Chairman Ray Lane and appointment of activist investor Ralph Whitworth as his interim replacement has raised hopes for a more "shareholder friendly" board at the flailing PC maker.
But investors aren't buying it just yet, and HP shares fell more than 2 percent in morning trading on Friday.
Wells Fargo analyst Maynard Um said the shakeup at HP, which follows a series of missteps including the messy acquisition of UK software firm Autonomy, could result in longer-term "shareholder friendly" actions "potentially from a capital allocation perspective."
But he said that while he now had more comfort about HP's ability to fix its foundation, the company needed new products and initiatives to offset a general downturn in the personal computer market. And any changes are likely to take time to formulate and materialize, Um said.
Apart from a new chairman or chairwoman, investors are waiting to see the final composition of the board. Two directors of the No.1 PC maker also stepped down on Thursday.
"The appointment of Ralph Whitworth to the chairman role, albeit temporarily, points a more fiscally conservative and shareholder friendly board as the debt burden ebbs," Credit Suisse analysts said in a research note.
Analysts held fire on their ratings and price targets on the stock, which has risen 90 percent since it hit a 10-year low in November when HP said it would write down $9 billion in assets related to the Autonomy deal. The S&P 500 index has risen 12 percent in the same period.
Lane, who remains a director, joins the list of prominent casualties of the $11 billion Autonomy deal, for which the company has been criticized for failing to conduct proper due diligence.
But HP's board and executive leadership has been in tumult since the departure in 2010 of former CEO Mark Hurd over sexual harassment allegations -- which Hurd has denied -- and Leo Apotheker's brief stint at the helm, during which the company made several operational blunders.
Whitworth, an HP director who runs activist hedge fund Relational Investors LLC, had told shareholders at the annual meeting in March to prepare for an "evolution" of the board.
HP's stock was changing hands at $21.98 in early afternoon trading on the New York Stock Exchange, well below its intrinsic value of $39.51, according to Thomson Reuters StarMine data.
The model measures a stock's current value when considering analysts' growth estimates for five years, and then modeling the typical growth trajectory over a longer period of time.
Netflix Inc and Best Buy Co Inc are the only S&P 500 component stocks that have outperformed HP's 56 percent rise so far this year.
According to StarMine, HP has a forward price-earnings ratio of 6.3, well below the median of 9.4 for the technology sector.
However, in the past year, HP's shares have fallen 4 percent, while the S&P index has risen 11.5 percent.
RBC Capital Markets analysts pointed to HP's "unraveling" fundamentals in maintaining their "sector-perform" rating, but said Whitworth's appointment was a positive step in corporate governance.
"Going forward, HP will have to face headwinds in PCs and printing that are more secular and less macro in nature," the analysts said.
"Furthermore, HP's impaired balance sheet will make it tougher for HP to invest in other avenues of growth."

Research from New Zealand's University of Otago detailing the fossil of a dwarf baleen whale from Northern California reveals that it avoided extinction far longer than previously thought.
Otago Department of Geology PhD student Robert Boessenecker has found that the fossil of the 4-5 meter long Herpetocetus, thought to be the last survivor of the primitive baleen whale family called cetotheres, may be as young as 700,000 years old.
Mr Boessenecker says the previously youngest-known fossils of this whale were from the pre-Ice Age Pliocene epoch; approximately 3 million years ago, a time before many modern marine mammals appeared. Baleen whales of this type were most common much earlier, about 10-15 million years ago.
"That this whale survived the great climatic and ecological upheavals of the Ice Age and almost into the modern era is very surprising as nearly all fossil marine mammals found after the end of the Pliocene appear identical to modern species.
"Other baleen whales underwent extreme body size increases in response to the new environment, but this dwarf whale must have still had a niche to inhabit which has only recently disappeared," he says.
The find indicates that the emergence of the modern marine mammals during the Ice Age may have happened more gradually than currently thought, he says.
The discovery also lends indirect support to a hypothesis about the modern pygmy right whale (Caperea marginata) recently published by Mr Boessenecker's colleagues Professor Ewan Fordyce and Dr Felix Marx. The pair posited that this enigmatic Southern Ocean whale is not a true right whale but actually a member of the cetothere family and one of the closest relatives of Herpetocetus.
"If their hypothesis is correct, this latest discovery indicates that other close relatives of the pygmy right whale nearly survived to modern times within the Northern Hemisphere.
"In this light, Herpetocetus can be viewed as a Northern Hemisphere equivalent of the pygmy right whale: both are small-bodied with peculiar anatomy, possibly closely related, with feeding habits that are seemingly divergent from other baleen whales."
All baleen whales lack teeth and instead use baleen to strain small prey like krill and fish from seawater. Many whales, such as humpback and blue whales, gulp enormous amounts of water during lunges, while others such as gray whales filter prey from mud on the seafloor.
Owing to a strange jaw joint, Herpetocetus could not open its mouth more than 35 degrees, unlike any modern baleen whale.
